New LNG Carrier for Tokyo Gas is named 'Energy Liberty'

The newbuilding LNG carrier jointly owned by MOL and Tokyo LNG Tanker Co. Ltd. was named 'Energy Liberty' today in a naming ceremony at the Tsu Shipyard of Japan Marine United Corporation (JMU).

President Tokyo Gas Co. Ltd, Michiaki Hirose gave the name "Energy Liberty" to the vessel.

South Korea to Build 15 ice-breaking Tankers for Russia

A South Korean company has been contracted to build 15 ice-breaking tanker vessels for Russia. During the 2017 Eastern Economic Forum, Russian President Vladimir Putin said the 15 tankers is for transporting Liquified natural gas (LNG) from Yamal LNG project.
